🏯 Tawang Monastery – The Heart of Arunachal’s Spirituality
Visit the 17th-century Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso under the guidance of the 5th Dalai Lama.
Participate in morning prayer rituals, explore the library of ancient Buddhist scriptures, and receive blessings from resident monks.
Admire the 8-meter-high statue of Lord Buddha and intricate thangka paintings.
🧘 Interaction with Monks and Monastic Life
Spend time with monks to learn about Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and monastic discipline.
Attend a monk chanting ceremony or observe debate sessions (when available).
Pick up from Guwahati and we’ll receive you from the airport or Railway and start driving towards Bhalukpong Arunachal Pradesh’s Gateway visit Scenic views On the route. Then we’ll stay at the hotel.
Have your morning meal and move towards Dirang visit the Tipi Orchid Centre on the way to Dirang later, after reaching Dirang Dzong and The Sangti Valley night stay is at Dirang.
After the breakfast drive by the Sceni Sela Pass, then visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and continue to Tawang, The Land of Buddhist Monasteries. Night stay at the hotel.
Explore Tawang:- Tawang Monastery, Urgeling Monastery, Tawang War Memorial You can also visit the Craft Centre and the Local Markets and take a Pause at the Hotel.
Today we’ll visit the Bum La Pass, Shonga-tser Lake - also known as Madhuri Lake and return to the Tawang Hotel.
Drop at Bomdila, Tezpur or Guwahati for onward Journey.
