🛕 Tabo Monastery (Gompa) – 1,000+ Years of Wisdom
Visit the sacred Tabo Monastery, also known as the “Himalayan Ajanta Caves”.
Explore ancient frescoes, murals, stucco sculptures, and meditation caves.
Participate in prayer ceremonies, interact with resident monks, and witness the daily rituals of this living monastery.
🪷 Spiritual and Cultural Immersion
Learn the basics of Tibetan Buddhism and Mahayana teachings from local lamas.
Join a guided meditation or prayer session in the main temple.
Understand the symbolism of thangka paintings, prayer wheels, and Buddhist philosophy.
Shimla Pick up and drive towards Reckong Peo stop at Sarahan and visit Bhimakali Temple, continue to the Sutlej River, and back to Reckong Peo.
Morning transfer to Tabo - Located in Spiti Valley through the - Khab and Nako Like Landscapes then hit Tabo visit the Tabo Monastery later, a Night stay at Tabo.
Drive to the visit Dahnkar Monastery then continue to Kaza and after a local Market visit back & stay at Kaza.
Moving towards the most Famous - Key Monastery then the Kibber Village and explore the snowy Mountains return and Kaza Stay.
Moving back to Kalpa a town in Kinnaur famous for Kinnaur Kailash View then look into the hotel for night stay at Kalpa.
After having the breakfast we’ll move to Shimla for departure.
